Most people who know me know that I’m pretty absent minded. I get lost while driving daily, lose my phone/wallet, and generally just can’t keep my mind focused. Most of the time its small things, but every now and then its something big. Cue this past week, when I purchased two very expensive textbooks from NJ Books. I had been sitting in class over an hour when I realized I left them at the Scott Hall bus stop (my class is on Cook/Douglass). For 10 minutes, I drowned in shock and depression. I briefly considered running back, but figured there was no way it would still be there. Whoever found these books could of easily resold them for around $200.

When class ended, someone walked in and yelled “did anyone lose their books at the college ave bus stop?”. This muthafuckin hero found my books, searched the bag to find my schedule, and came all the way from College Ave to give them back. It just goes to show you that there are awesome people at Rutgers. Things like this often go unnoticed, and I just wanted to express my gratitude.

Unfortunately, I didn’t think to get this kids number/email. If any of you know him, drop his contact info in the question form.
